Botanical Garden Retreat | Shower Remodel
The Challenge & The Vision
Our client had a distinct vision for this bathroom, she wanted to lean into a biophilic design (a 2026 bathroom trend) so we transformed this standard sloped-ceiling nook into a permanent botanical retreat. We anchored the space using a textured, matte sage subway tile on the lower third, providing a visual weight that mimics the forest floor. This transitions seamlessly into the focal point: a large-format botanical band featuring stylized Monstera leaves. The tile offers a tactile interaction of matte whites and greens against gilded, metallic bronze negative space, which catches the light from the fixture overhead.
