We took this classic, long, narrow galley style bathroom from the mid-20th century into the modern era. We removed the dated fiberglass tub and replaced it with a luxurious walk-in shower with a low-profile black base. A horizontal, built-in shower niche was added for storage, featuring a contrasting dark hexagonal tile that complements the floor. The shower now features a sleek, matte black rainfall shower head and handle, matching the door hardware. We added modern, frameless glass sliding door with matte black "barn door" style hardware. The new tile uses black, white, and grey to create a three-dimensional, tumbling block effect, serving as a major focal point. The old, flush-mount "boob light" on the ceiling was replaced with a more stylish, multi-bulb fixture, also in a matte black finish.
