Brookline Kitchen with Breakfast Nook
The Challenge & The Vision
The client had a kitchen with a footprint was so tiny you could barely open the fridge and the oven at the same time. They wanted a space where they could actually hang out and entertain.
So, we came in with our favorite move and took down that entire wall separating the kitchen from the old dining room. The second that wall came down, the whole space could finally breathe! With all that newfound room, we brought in some serious warmth and character with custom woodwork. You can see it in that rich stain on the new open shelves, the massive butcher block countertop on the center island, and the custom top we built behind the stove.
That piece cleverly separates the main kitchen from this super cozy breakfast nook we built out, complete with a custom bench and table seating. To top it all off, we blew out the window space to let in a ton of natural light and even built these slick custom radiator covers so everything feels intentional and finished.
