Scandinavian Inspired Bathroom - Floating Vanity (Oakland)
Oh, we do love a good condo glow-up! This project was all about creating a serene, modern escape out of a seriously dated and awkward space. The client wanted a clean and sophisticated retreat, but the "before" layout was a real puzzle. If you look at the before picture, you'll see a cramped shower stall and some wasted nook space that made the whole room feel dark and tight.
We started by completely reimagining the floor plan. By taking out the old shower and nook, we created one long, clean wall that completely opened up the room. This move was key to making space for a gorgeous, floating light-oak vanity that adds warmth and texture. For a bit of drama and much-needed storage, we added a floor-to-ceiling, black cabinet that creates a bold, modern contrast. We finished the space with large-format floor tiles to enhance the feeling of spaciousness and added a touch of glam with those chic brass sconces. From compartmentalized to chic, this bathroom is now a stunning and functional retreat.
