Attic Bath | Historic Mansion
The Challenge & The Vision
Another bathroom remodel from the Historic Mansion series designed by Betsy Wentz.
The first thing we did was lay this classic black-and-white mosaic tile on the floor. It’s a timeless pattern that immediately gives the room a sense of history and character. For the shower, tucked right under the eaves, we used glossy white tile stacked vertically, a trick to draw the eye up and fight the feeling of a low ceiling.
Our clean, graphic tile work creates the perfect, quiet canvas that lets the heroic pieces, like that amazing carved marble sink, be the absolute star of the show. We loved transforming this awkward space into something this bright and beautiful.
