Two-Tone Cabinets and Live-Edge Shelving | Fox Chapel Kitchen
The Challenge & The Vision
Situated on a property bordering the woods, the client wanted to bring in the feeling of the surrounding landscape indoors. The material and color palette was chosen to directly reflect this environment.
Dark green base cabinets evoke the forest floor, while the natural wood uppers echo the tree trunks visible just outside. We also added thick, live-edge floating shelves, which introduce a raw, organic element for display. The white quartz countertop, with its subtle grey veining, introduces the brightness of natural stone and provides a durable work surface.
