Low-Maintenance Covered Porch and Deck Combo
The Challenge & The Vision
We collaborated with our client to transform their backyard into a premier outdoor living space. Their goal was a low-maintenance, multi-functional area, and our team delivered. We engineered and constructed a substantial roof extension, creating a covered porch that shields the family from sun and rain. Our builders installed a clean, white beadboard ceiling and wired in a ceiling fan, guaranteeing comfort on warm afternoons. This covered area provides a perfect spot for dining or relaxing, seamlessly connecting to the house through elegant French doors. For the open-air section, we built a spacious sundeck using two-tone composite decking that resists fading and splintering. The light gray field is defined by a dark gray picture-frame border, creating sharp visual interest.
This entire elevated structure adds significant functional square footage to the home.
