This small bathroom achieves opulence through a masterful juxtaposition of textures and tones. We used Charcoal-hued wall tiles to form a moody, enveloping backdrop, which is a key departure from the bright white typical in small bathrooms. Overhead, the ceiling offers a warm counterpoint with embossed, coppery-bronze tin panels, lending a vintage, metallic shimmer.

All metal fixtures - the faucet, towel bar, toilet paper holder, and shower set - are a bright, polished brass or gold finish. This high-sheen, light-toned metal helps stand out against the dark tile like jewelry.

We used the large perimeter lit mirror as a counter-effect. Its size and illumination visually push back the dark walls and significantly brighten the room.
