Classic with a Twist | Cheswick

The Challenge & The Vision

The goal for this project was to create a bathroom that felt like a personal spa: calm, earthy, and full of quiet luxury. The homeowners wanted something that felt both sophisticated and incredibly relaxing.

We decided to anchor the entire design around this deep sage green double vanity. It brings this amazing sense of nature indoors and became the starting point for all the other finishes. To add a touch of warmth and glam, we went with champagne bronze fixtures and hardware throughout.

But the real fun was playing with texture. In the shower, we used this wavy, glossy white subway tile that has a beautiful watery shimmer to it, pairing it with a classic marble hex tile on the floor. For the main floor, we laid down these dramatic, large-format marble tiles that make the whole room feel so grand. It’s proof that you don't need wild colors to create a room with a ton of personality and style!

Artisanal Texture with Wavy Subway Tile

Giving a modern update to a timeless classic, the walk-in shower features white subway tiles with a subtle, undulating texture. This wavy, handcrafted-style finish catches the light beautifully, adding a sense of gentle movement, depth, and soft sophistication to the bright and spacious shower enclosure.

Sage Green & Champagne Bronze Palette

The room is anchored by a stunning double vanity painted in a sophisticated sage green. This rich, earthy color is perfectly complemented by the warm glow of Champagne Bronze finishes, which are used cohesively across the widespread faucets, cabinet hardware, elegant mirrors, and vanity lighting for a unified and luxurious look.

Luxurious Layers

This design expertly layers different stone patterns for a rich and dynamic feel. The bathroom floor is grounded with a dramatic, large-format marble tile featuring bold grey veining. This is tastefully paired with a classic white hexagonal marble mosaic on the shower floor, creating a beautiful contrast in scale and pattern that exudes high-end luxury.
